A new exercise venue has come to Pine Bluffs. Tone & Tan is a new company that held its open house on September 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This is a circuit gym. A person starts anywhere on a machine. You train for 30 seconds at each station, resting or jogging between each machine. You do this three times around the gym on the machines to get a full workout. Then you do this three times a week to see results. The machines work a different area of the body. It helps to tone and strengthen a person. Each machine has hydraulic resistance to help build the body. It’s for all ages and sizes, even six-foot-five gents, so give it a try. This is fine if you don’t like to exercise or establish a planned routine.
If you’re not up for exercising, they’ve got a tan, too. They have three tanning beds. The one you can stand up to tan. Another is to help with wrinkles with red lasers. It can boost vitamin D levels or relax you after a workout. Owner Jessica Loyd says tanning beds are safe. About eight minutes at a time, two to three times a week, will create a nice tan or maintain your current tan.
Finally, they will offer an advanced skincare and beauty service owned by Mardi Oneal. She has a great menu on what she will be offering. Body treatments, personalized facials and waxing of all parts of a body.
They will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can book or buy packages online. A code to open the door will be emailed to you. There are no attendees in the business, instead security cameras monitor. In case of problem, log in; Loyd will help you. You can message her from the number on the website. This business is just for those who are online. She welcomes everyone to try out the machines or tanning beds.
Loyd started this because she doesn’t like to exercise. The idea came to him when he saw an online gym circuit. She thought it would benefit herself and others with the machines. She has done up the place with colors similar to where she comes from. Loyd is from the Florida and Georgia area. Each door represents a range from which it comes. Loyd would like people to clean up after themselves when they’re done with the machines or the tanning beds.
The open day was slow at first. Pine Bluffs Mayor Justin Fornstrom and his wife Kara Fornstrom were there to support the new venture. Loyd is thrilled that the new business is helping the community.
