Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission (TANSIM) has launched two new initiatives – a StartupTN BrandLabs and a StartupTN Launchpad. Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) TM Anbarasan will officially launch the initiatives this week.

StartupTN BrandLabs will be a community forum comprised of successful entrepreneurs, emerging startups in various stages, and aspirants, including students, to learn and unlearn all about marketing and branding. StartupTN Launchpad will help startups launch their products and services which serve as a platform to build a brand and take it to the next level without having to spend a lot on it during their early days.

“Branding is the winning proposition for any business and is both an artistic and a scientific skill. Most entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu have traditionally maintained a low-key culture in branding their products or services, said TANSIM’s Mission Director and CEO, Sivarajah Ramanathan.

“The TN BrandLabs will be a knowledge and networking forum with branding experts from around the world and startups to continuously interact and evolve breakthrough branding strategies,” he said.

This brand orientation program will be a community forum powered by TANSIM for emerging startups to gain initial traction in the market. It aims to help Tamil Nadu-based startups get their brands known nationally and internationally.

A statement from TANSIM mentioned that budding startups who intend to use this platform can fill in the application form details online in the StartupTN Launchpad section at
