M1 maintained its popularity at this year’s CES, building on its recognition as the winner of the CES 2019 and 2020 Innovation Awards. August 2021, M1 has completed its first series production and first delivery under a designated project with an automobile manufacturer. Since the start of production of the manufacturer (SOP) in June 2021, more than 10 deliveries have been made, making M1 the world’s first and only mass-produced automotive-grade MEMS semiconductor LiDAR. It has also received fixed point orders from numerous commercial vehicle companies including BYD, GAC, WM Motor, Zeekr, a subsidiary of Geely, Lotus Cars and Inceptio Technology.
RoboSense also made the world premiere of its 128-beam mechanical LiDAR called Ruby Plus to the public at CES. After progress in performance and design, the diameter has also been reduced from 166mm to 125mm and the height has been reduced from 148.5mm to 125mm. Ruby Plus not only has a longer detection range and higher detection accuracy, but also reduced its overall weight and volume by more than 50% and power consumption by 40%, reduced from 45W to 27W, technical achievements which aroused great interest from CES participants.
RoboSense also showcased the RS-Helios-5515 at the CES booth, a new 32-beam LiDAR customized for Alibaba Xiaomanlv’s logistics robot, marking its debut at an international outdoor exhibition. China. With a completely new technical structure, the new generation of LiDAR Helios benefits from a customized field of view (FoV) and enables both long-range perception and elimination of near-field blind spots, characteristics that mechanical LiDARs have. traditional have not yet reached. Its design places lasers more densely in the center of its field of vision, further improving perception and reducing blind spots.
