Smirnoff announces new flavored service
Smirnoff has expanded its flavored vodka portfolio with Smirnoff Berry Burst (37.5% ABV), launched in 70cl bottles at RRP £16.50 exclusively at Morrisons earlier this week (Monday June 20), with wider availability expected From September onwards.
With its natural blueberry and blackberry flavors combined with Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka, its striking bottle design and brightly colored liquid, Smirnoff Berry Burst is best served with lemonade over ice and garnished with mint or blueberry, or in cocktails, to offer exciting twists on popular classic dishes.

- 25ml Smirnoff Berry Burst
- Archers 25ml
- 150ml cranberry juice
- Pour the above ingredients over ice and garnish with raspberries or lime
Smirnoff Berry Burst Spritz:
- 25ml Smirnoff Berry Burst
- 75ml Lemonade
- 50ml Prosecco
- Pour the above ingredients over ice and garnish with raspberries
Smirnoff Berry Burst Royale:
- Ingredients: 25ml Smirnoff Berry Burst
- Prosecco or chilled sparkling wine
- Pour the above ingredients into a champagne flute and top with Prosecco or chilled sparkling wine, garnish with a blueberry and serve
Beavertown brings back Tropigamma
Beavertown’s classic 5.4% ABV tropical IPA, Tropigamma, made a comeback this summer.
Tropigamma offers tropical fruit notes, blending real fruit pulp flavors of guava, papaya, mango, mandarin orange and peach, added during fermentation to provide a burst of refreshment, ideal for relaxed summer days .
Available now via Beavertown’s online store, Tropigamma can be purchased in individual 330ml cans (RRP £2.50), packs of eight cans and a drink (RRP £22), cases of 24 (RRP 54 £) or in mixed cases of Tropigamma and Gamma Ray (24 cans at RRP £52).
Greenall goes tropical
Greenall’s has expanded its flavored gin portfolio with the launch of Greenall’s Tropical Fruits Gin (37.5% ABV).
A modern take on classic fruit flavors, Greenall’s Tropical Fruit Gin blends mango, passion fruit, pineapple and orange with no artificial sweeteners or added sugar, best served over ice with premium tonic water and a sprig of mint or in a tropical fruit cocktail.

Greenall’s Tropical Fruit Punch:
- 350ml Greenall tropical fruit gin
- 150ml honey water (mix equal parts honey and hot water until fully blended)
- 100ml lime juice
- carbonated water
- Fresh mint
Pour Greenall’s Tropical Fruits Gin into a pitcher, followed by lime juice and honey water. Take mint leaves and slap to “wake up” before adding. Fill with plenty of ice and cover with club soda. Add extra fruit slices to make it even more summery. Pour and enjoy!
Mr Black Rum launches a limited edition service
Award-winning Mr Black has launched Rum Barrel Coffee Liqueur (25% ABV), a limited-edition service launched earlier this month.
Offering notes of roasted coffee and brown sugar with dark chocolate, sweet raisins and aromatic spices, Mr Black’s Rum Barrel Coffee Liqueur is best served over ice.
Mr Black founder Tom Baker said: ‘I was like the proverbial kid in the candy store raiding the warehouses of a 140-year-old rum distillery in search of special casks for this project.
“We also convinced them to give us two barrels from their top shelf ‘Master Distillers Edition’ – which coincidentally won the World’s Best Rum award in 2018. Amazing stuff – we used them all in the mix final.
“The fruit and spice notes of aged rum sing with Mr Black. The end result is an extraordinarily decadent blend of coffee and rum, but still with our signature Mr Black balance and refinement. A real treat.”

Brighton Gin launches annual pride labels
Brighton Gin has announced the launch of its annual Pride label, this year in collaboration with Brighton-based LGBTQ+ artist Dave Pop!, which will be released as a first run of 500 bottles in two designs, each numbered and signed by the artist.
Available throughout Pride Month and throughout the summer, this year’s exclusive Art Bottles, available in 700ml sizes at an RRP of £39.50, showcase the waterfront from Brighton and use vintage fairground-style artwork and carousel horses, inspired by pop art stars Warhol, Lichtenstein and Koons.

Terlingham celebrates English Wine Week
To celebrate English Wine Week (Saturday June 18 to Sunday June 26), Kent-based Terlingham Vineyard has released two new vegan wines, Terlingham Chardonnay 2021 and Rosé 2021.
Terlingham Chardonnay is lightly oaked, fresh and lemony with notes of vanilla, candied lemon and green peach on the nose, with sweet orchard fruits on the palate while Rosé de Terlingham offers fresh wild raspberry, ginger and blackcurrant with red apple and thyme, cherry-plum finish.
Each of the vineyards, which is located on the Kent North Downs and has a negative carbon footprint of -11.91 tonnes per year, 5,500 vines are located on the same chalk vein as Champagne and benefit from a cool sea breeze, blowing away any potential mildew, are nurtured by hand and grown naturally without the use of chemicals or artificial fertilizers.
Jackie Wilks, co-founder of Terlingham Vineyard, said: “Consumers are increasingly keen to explore locally produced ethical wines. Now is a fruitful time for retailers, bars and restaurants to expand their repertoire of English wines in time for summer.

Burleighs launches gin in collaboration with Age UK
Closing out this week is another gin with a purpose, Leicestershire distillery Burleighs Gin has launched its latest variant, Mad Hatter’s Gin, to celebrate 70 years of Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland.e anniversary, with more than a third of sales donated to local projects and communities.
Delivering refreshing citrus and elderberry notes, the limited-edition recipe was created by head distiller, Charlie Hendon, using the distillery’s signature gin as a base to keep it smooth and well-balanced, best served. in a G&T.
