The children’s farm has barns to explore, a gift shop with a huge museum filled with old toys, and a pavilion for when you need a picnic break. QR codes throughout the property share fun facts about the many animals that call the farm home: cattle, rabbits, peacocks, pot-bellied pigs and more. There are also special events like Love a Llama Weekend and “Not a Goat” Rodeo Day (think goat yoga, costume contests, crafts). A bracelet gives you unlimited rides, access to each interactive area of the children’s farm and admission to the museum ($12 for adults; $8 from 1 to 12 years old; free for children under 1). Charlevoix county residents and employees get 50% off.
