Hartzell Celebrates 50 Years and Introduces New Products at AirVenture

Hartzell celebrates its 50th anniversary at EAA AirVenture 2022 and highlights new propeller products for aircraft including the Diamond DA40 NG, Mooney M20M/TLS/Bravo, and for the fiberglass four-blade propeller. At the show, Hartzell will also be offering a $1,000 discount on all of its new backcountry propellers sold to members of the Recreational Aviation Foundation.

Backcountry propellers are designed for shorter launch distances and better climb rates. These propeller designs include the Explorer, a three-bladed Raptor-series composite ASC-II available for some experimental aircraft; the Voyager, a three-bladed aluminum scimitar optimized for the Cessna 180, 182, 185 and 206; the Pathfinder, a Raptor-series three-blade ASC-II composite available for experimental aircraft and Cubcrafters XCub and Carbon Cub FX; and the two- and three-blade Trailblazer ASC-II composite available for various aircraft models from American Champion, American Legend, Aviat, Avipro, Cubcrafters, Glasair and Maule.

Hartzell sponsors a variety of AirVenture air show performers, including Michael Goulian and Matt Younkin, and promotes and sponsors the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center, a skills-building and gathering space where pilots can enhance their knowledge, skills and network.
