Five New Products: Guinness, TGI Friday’s, VFC, Ramona’s, Young’s Foodservice – Grocery Gazette

Guinness Flava People Sauce

The Flava People has partnered with Diageo to launch a new line of Guinness-based sauces including Guinness Ketchup and Smoky BBQ Sauce.

Tesco will launch the range later in April, which will also include a mix of beef and onion in sauce.

The Irish beer brand is expected to add a malty and smoky flavor profile to condiment variants and is aimed at ‘foodies’ and ‘beer lovers’.

“The new sauces are designed to expand shoppers’ relationship with Guinness and food beyond the traditional – offering more premium, flavorful alternatives to household cupboard staples, perfect as we enter the barbecue months of summer,” Guinness Kitchen’s Flava People brand manager says Olivia Parkes.

Guinness Smoky BBQ Sauce and Guinness Ketchup comes in a 200ml bottle, priced at £2 and will be available in 275 Tesco stores.

TGI Friday’s Icelandic barbecue range

Iceland exclusively launched five new TGI Friday products, including Burnt Ends with Honey BBQ, Beef Short Ribs with Maple BBQ and Cheese & Jalapeño Hot Dogs.

The line will also include TGI Pulled Pork and TGI Skin On Fries as well as a TGI Chocolatey Marshmallow S’mores Dessert option.

The dessert features a chocolate flavored topping on a caramelized cookie crumb and is also topped with a caramelized marshmallow meringue.

Prices range from £2 for skin on fries to £8.50 for TGI beef ribs with maple barbecue rub and sticky barbecue sauce – and are currently available in store or online.

Vegan Food Company (VFC) Sainsbury’s listings

York-based vegan food company VFC has secured a new listing for Sainsbury’s, which will see its Vegan Fried Chicken Fillets and *n Vegan Fried Chicken and Vegan Popcorn Fried Chicken stocked in 116 of its stores across the country. ‘grocer.

VFC has only been trading for 15 months, with three of its products listed in Tesco in its first year.

Ramona’s Hummus launches at Tesco

The Ramona’s Houmous brand is set to launch at Tesco on April 11, with its 500g jars of Original and Jalapeno Houmous.

The news follows Ramona’s launch last winter at Sainsbury’s and hopes to expand its visibility across the Big 4.

“It’s a fantastic list, not only because we will be able to reach many more grocery customers through Tesco, but also because we will be located right in the heart of the dip aisle and we know that our product and our brand stand out amongst the bland, boring sea of ​​beige,” said Ramona Sales and Marketing Manager Andrew Dobson.

The Jalapeño and Original hummus products will retail at Tesco for £3 for a 500g jar.

Young’s Foodservice Fish Fillet Studs

Young’s Foodservice, Britain’s biggest seafood brand, is set to launch its new Crispy 100% Fillet Fish Studs.

The product includes 100% Basa tenderloin crispy coated gudgeons and comes frozen in a 4kg case.

Additionally, the seafood company prides itself on the product’s durability, versatility, and flavor.

“Whether served simply with a bowl of dip or added to a sandwich of fresh, crusty bread with salad and tartar sauce, or even highlighted on a sharing platter with scampis, thick fries and vegetable sticks crispy, there are many ways these new gudgeon fish can be served,” said Joel Carr, Chief Development Officer of Young’s Foodservice.
