Draymond Green, a mainstay of the Golden State Warriors’ multiple NBA Championships over the past decade, will host a weekly podcast for the emerging network The Volume.
Draymond’s Green Show will have new episodes released every Wednesday during the season. Green will also serve as a strategic advisor to The Volume, guiding the company on talent hiring and business initiatives.
Sports media personality Colin Cowherd and iHeartMedia founded The Volume last February.
Colin Cowherd has released a statement to share his excitement with Draymond Green aboard “The Volume”.
“At Volume, we’re always looking for unique and fearless people. No one in the NBA captures this combination more than Draymond Green, ”Cowherd said. “We are delighted that Draymond has chosen to be part of The Volume as a host and advisor. We look forward to benefiting from his expertise both as a talent and as a strategic thinker as we continue to build the network. “
Lateral action trend
Speaking of the opportunity, Draymond Green admitted he was looking for ways to get involved in the media as he grew his voice.
“I’ve always wanted to bring more of a player perspective to stories that come out of the league. And there is nothing that I value more than engaging with my enemies and my fans. I’m excited to do all of this on this show, ”Green said. “This partnership also gives me a unique opportunity to identify other emerging talents in the sports and entertainment world and give them a platform to talk about their own experiences.”
There is no doubt that Draymond Green will be in high demand by many networks at the end of his career. And he’ll have the chance to learn from Colin Cowherd while he’s still in the league.
This podcast must be fun.
